Before you start
Talos drives devices through the Android platform tools, so it expects a working adb on the host (on the PATH or set in the configuration) and an authorized Android device. Add your own API key for Claude, OpenAI, Google Gemini or OpenRouter, or use a compatible custom HTTP endpoint. FFmpeg is optional for live streaming; Appium is not required.
After installing, open Talos, set a dashboard password and paste your licence key. The key activates this host machine. Licensed installations contact the licence server; AI usage is separate from the licence.
Updating from an earlier version
Close Talos or stop its service and keep the data directory. The first start of 0.4.0 upgrades the local database once and can take longer with a long run history; tasks, settings and saved API keys are kept. The dashboard then asks you to set a password.
